Not sure if this will reach enough people but- can we technically have 2 saves on acnh from one game with the switch 2 ? Like if you transfer your island from your first Switch but then delete your save on your second switch, do you still have your first save on your first Switch ? Then, could you make a second save on a your second switch and have 2 saves on one account ? Or is there any way at all to have 2 saves with 2 switches from one game ? I've haven't seen anyone talking about it so I might just be dumb but I really don't know 😞

I mean of course not. Of course not the new chapters have a switch 2 exclusive gimmick of course that can’t be on the switch 1. Obviously of course not.

But like. I thought. I thought the pc build. Of chapters 3 and 4 were gonna be ported on switch 1 instead. I thought switch 1 people would just have the base pc version on the switch. Like it’s been happening. Like it’s been done before now. Am I the stupid one. Am I the fool for thinking that

カナイ区の看板は何語かわからない言語で書かれてるのにエーテルア女学院の掲示物はなぜか完全に日本語なんだよなぁ。流石にこれは他言語でもそのままなのかな。 The signage in Kanai Ward is written in a jumbled language so players can't tell what language it is, but the posters or something on the wall of Aetheria Academy are completely in Japanese. I'm curious to see if this will be localized.

演劇部の部室のホワイトボードに貼られているポスターだけ日付が書いてあって、6月2日（金)って書いてあるから、もしかしてレインコードのストーリーは5月の終わり〜6月初めあたりで始まってるのかな？(他に日付の情報があったか記憶が曖昧) The only poster on the whiteboard in the Theater Club room has a date on it, and it says that a summer festival will be held on Friday, June 2, so maybe the RAIN CODE storyline started in late May or early June? (I don't remember if there was any other information about the date).

Exactly what I needed to know when I buy my Switch 2.

I want to keep the Switch OLED I have exactly as it is with all the games on but if you do a full out swap when you boot up the Switch 2, it will also delete everything on the Switch. If you don’t want it to do that, then you should follow this step-by-step guide on how to transfer your saved data to your Switch 2 whilst keeping it on the Switch. Most of us will not have the storage space to transfer every game and all saved data for those games anyway even with the micro SD express card.

I just want to transfer everything I have for ‘Breath Of The Wild’ and ‘Tears Of The Kingdom’ because I know I have the option to start all over again on a second save file later on. That will already take up a lot of storage space when upgrading to the “Switch 2 editions” for both games along with the downloads of ‘Mario Kart World’ and ‘Super Smash Bros: Ultimate’ as virtual game cards. You own all the games on the Switch so you should have the option to redownload them for the Switch 2 at any time you want whilst also still keeping them on the Switch. Nintendo should not be deleting anything without your expressed consent. Hence why there is virtual game cards which means if you have the physical games cards, you can just download the digital versions of those games for the new console. But I will not want to be doing that without the storage capacity for it but I may want to do that when there’s a micro SD express card available that has 1-2TB storage capacity.

I do not want to overload my Switch 2 with saved data.

So a very useful step-by-step guide if, like me, you want to keep everything that’s on your Switch as it is whilst still transferring some of the games and saved data to your Switch 2 like ones that have “Switch 2 editions”.

This part gets me.

Publishers not wanting to pay an increased manufacturing cost for a high capacity game cartridge is almost understandable.

Not putting ANY game data on a cartridge is LITERALLY insane.

I personally had high hopes for Switch 2 cartridges. The OG switch cartridges were ultimately increased to 32 GBs throughout the console's lifespan. I was expecting that they'd increase the capacity, especially for first party titles like Mario or Zelda.

Like how can you reasonably expect to charge folks a higher price for a physical copy of a game, only to take up 32 GBs of onboard system storage???
